The Municipal Court is the judicial branch of City government. The City of Pendleton's Municipal Court processes City ordinance violations, State statute violations, and traffic violations generated by the City's Police Department.

The Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla people make up the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. Since time immemorial, we have lived on the Columbia River Plateau. Specifically, our homeland is the area now known as northeastern Oregon and southeastern Washington. Our three bands were brought together on the Umatilla Indian Reservation, established by a Treaty with the US Government in 1855. We were united as a single tribal government in 1949 when our leaders adopted our Constitution and By-laws. We currently have over 2,800 tribal members. We are a small group of people who continue to care for and live on the land of our ancestors. We are a small group of people who are doing great things for ourselves and our neighbors.

For twenty-six years the Oregon East Symphony & Chorale has provided Pendleton and its surrounding rural region with high quality musical experiences and events. A volunteer Board of Directors guides the organization, which is administered by a management team consisting of an executive director, program manager, publications manager, and office manager. This team, with the help of many devoted volunteers, facilitates four diverse season concerts, a Holiday Music Festival, fundraising events, and a host of comprehensive musical education programs. Music director and conductor, Dr. Anthony Spain, joined Oregon East Symphony in 2011. Conductor Spain has been the Music Director for the Northwest Symphony Orchestra in Seattle since 1987, where his innovative programming has gained national acclaim.

The facility features 18 holes of championship golf, practice facilities, fitness center, swimming pool, dining room, full service bar, and a great banquet room. The Umatilla National Forest, located in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington and northeast Oregon, covers 1.4 million acres of diverse landscapes and plant communities.
